في بداية العام الهجري
في بداية العام الهجري
فإننا في هذا اليوم نستقبل عاما جديدا هجريا.
ولم يكن التاريخ السنوي معمولا به في أول الإسلام حتى كانت خلافة عمر بن الخطاب ففي السنة الثالثة أو الرابعة من خلافته كتب إليه أبو موسى الأشعري: إنه يأتينا منك كتب ليس لها تاريخ.
فجمع عمر الصحابة رضي الله عنهم فاستشارهم، وقال الهجرة فرقت بين الحق والباطل فأرخوا بها.
فأرخوا من الهجرة واتفقوا على ذلك.
ثم تشاوروا من أي شهر يكون ابتداء السنة، واختار عمر وعثمان وعلي أن يكون من المحرم لأنه شهر حرام يلي شهر ذي الحجة الذي يؤدي المسلمون فيه حجهم الذي به تمام أركان دينهم والذي كانت فيه بيعة الأنصار للنبي والعزيمة على الهجرة.
فكان ابتداء السنة الإسلامية الهجرية من الشهر المحرم الحرام.
أيها المستمعون إننا اليوم نستقبل عاما جديدا إسلاميا هجريا شهوره الشهور الهلالية التي هي عند الله تعالى في كتابه كما قال تعالى: {إن عدة الشهور عند الله اثنا عشر شهرا في كتاب الله يوم خلق السماوات والأرض منها أربعة حرم}.
الشهور التي جعلها الله تعالى مواقيت للعالم كلهم قال الله عز وجل: {يسألونك عن الأهلة قل هي مواقيت للناس مواقيت للناس} كلهم بدون تخصيص لا فرق بين عرب وعجم ذلك لأنها علامات محسوسة ظاهرة لكل أحد يعرف بها دخول الشهر وخروجه فمتى رؤي الهلال من أول الليل دخل الشهر الجديد وخرج الشهر السابق.
أيها المسلمون إننا هذه الأيام نستقبل عاما جديدا إسلاميا هجريا.
فليس الغبطة بكثرة السنين وإنما الغبطة بما أمضاه العبد منها في طاعة مولاه، فكثرة السنين خير لمن أمضاها في طاعة ربه، شر لمن أمضاها في معصية الله والتمرد على طاعته، وشر الناس من طال عمره وساء عمله.
إن علينا أن نستقبل أيامنا وشهورنا وأعوامنا بطاعة ربنا ومحاسبة أنفسنا وإصلاح ما فسد من أعمالنا ومراقبة من ولانا الله تعالى عليه من الأهل من زوجات وأولاد بنين وبنات وأقارب.
إن كل عام يجد يعد المرء نفسه بالعزيمة الصادقة والجد ولكن تمضي عليه الأيام وتنطوي الساعات وحاله لم تتغير إلى أصلح، فيبوء بالخيبة والخسران ثم لا يفلح ولا ينجح؛ فاغتنموا الأوقات بطاعة الله وكونوا كل عام أصلح من العام الذي قبله؛ فإن كل عام يمر بكم يقربكم من القبور عاما، ويبعدكم عن القصور عاما، يقربكم من الانفراد بأعمالكم، ويبعدكم من التمتع بأهليكم وأولادكم وأموالكم.
والله ما قامت الدنيا إلا بقيام الدين، ولا نال العز والكرامة والرفعة إلا من خضع لرب العالمين، ولا دام الأمن والطمأنينة والرخاء إلا باتباع منهج المرسلين، وتوبوا إلى الله جميعا أيها المؤمنون لعلكم تفلحون.
