قصة حمصية واقعية :
في الجامع الكبير بحمص كان يا مكان هناك غرفة اسمها غرفة الشيخ طاهر الرئيس
يستقبل فيها الشيخ رحمه الله طلبة العلم والتجار والذين يريدون رأي الشيخ في مسألة من المسائل أو حل خلاف بين اثنين أو غيره ..
في يوم من الأيام دخل إلى غرفة الشيخ طاهر الرئيس رجل بدوي ملهوف
قال يا شيخ دخلت إلى مكان الوضوء .. توضأت وخرجت لاصلي ركعتين ولما فرغت من الصلاة تذكرت اني نسيت الكمر ( النطاق الجلد الذي يلبسه البدوي أو الفلاح فوق الثوب ) ورجعت ابحث عنه فلم أجده في مكان الوضوء .. وفيه كل ما أملك .. فقد حاسبت التاجر الذي أُوَرِّد إليه إنتاجي من اللبن والسمن عن الموسم كله واعطاني الحساب ليرات من الذهب وضعتها في هذا الكمر ....
كان بجانب الشيخ أحد تجار حمص المليئين ولكن ماله في جيبه،وليس في قلبه التفت هذا التاجر إلى البدوي وقال : صف لنا الكمر ومحتوياته قد يأتي به من يجده إلى هنا لعند الشيخ .. فقال البدوي : الكمر جديد اشتريته لتوي من عند فلان سعره كذاوكذا وضعت فيه الليرات الذهبية التي عددها كذا وكذا وصفتها كذا ....
قال التاجر لا عليك ارجع لعند الشيخ بعد الصلاة لعل الله يرده إليك
وخرج التاجر من فوره إلى السوق إلى بائع الأكمار وقال هل بعت اليوم لرجل بدوي كمرا صفته كذا وسعره كذا . قال نعم ولم ابع غيره .. قال أعطني واحد مثله واشتراه وانصرف ليضع فيه نفس عدد الليرات الذهبية وصفتها .. ورجع بعد الصلاة إلى غرفة الشيخ وبعد قليل دخل البدوي الملهوف فقال له هذا كمرك ؟ فاخذه وتفقد محتوياته فإذا الليرات الذهبية كما هي .. فردت إليه روحه وحمدالله
وانصرف إلى أهله وبعد قليل من وصوله جاءه رجل من جماعته ومعه الكمر المفقود وقدمه إليه وقال لقد عرفته انه لك من ورقة بداخله عليها اسمك .. فدهش لما أصبح معه كمران متشابهان ...
ومن الصباح ذهب إلى غرفة الشيخ طاهر بالجامع الكبير وقص على الشيخ كيف أصبح لديه كمران متشابهان
... فعرف الشيخ ما صنع التاجر بالأمس فالتفت إليه وقال ما دفعك لعمل كهذا .. ؟
فقال : إغاثة الملهوف ياسيدي وما لها عند الله ...
فقال الشيخ هذه بضاعتك ردت إليك ولك عند الله ما نويت .
