أهمية السيرة الاقتصادية:
إن السيرة النبوية توضح حياة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، بدقائقها وتفاصيلها، منذ ولادته وحتى موته، مرورًا بطفولته وشبابه ودعوته وجهاده وصبره، وتظهر بوضوح أنه كان زوجًا وأبًا وقائدًا، وحاكمًا، وسياسيًا ومربيًا وداعية وزاهدًا وقاضيًا.
فكل إنسان يجد بغيته فيها.
فالداعية يجد له في سيرة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أساليب الدعوة، ومراحلها المتسلسلة، ويتعرف على الوسائل المناسبة لكل مرحلة من مراحلها، فيستفيد منها في اتصاله بالناس ودعوتهم للإسلام، ويستشعر الجهد العظيم الذي بذله رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من أجل إعلاء كلمة الله، وكيفية التصرف أمام العوائق والعقبات، والصعوبات وما هو الموقف الصحيح أمام الشدائد والفتن؟
ويجد المربي في سيرته صلى الله عليه وسلم دروسًا نبوية في التربية والتأثير على الناس بشكل عام، وعلى أصحابه الذين رباهم على يده وكلأهم بعنايته، فأخرج منهم جيلاً قرآنيًا فريدًا، وكوَّن منهم أمة هي خير أمة أخرجت للناس، تأمر بالمعروف، وتنهى عن المنكر، وتؤمن بالله، نشرت العدل في مشارق الأرض ومغاربها،
ويجد العلماء فيها ما يعينهم على فهم كتاب الله تعالى؛ لأنها هي المفسرة للقرآن الكريم في الجانب العملي، ففيها أسباب النزول، وتفسير لكثير من الآيات فتعينهم على فهمها، والاستنباط منها، ومعايشة أحداثها، فيستخرجون أحكامها الشرعية، وأصول السياسة الشرعية، ويحصلون منها على المعارف الصحيحة في علوم الإسلام المختلفة، وبذلك يتذوقون روح الإسلام ومقاصده السامية،
ويجد فيها الزهاد معاني الزهد وحقيقته ومقصده.
ويستقي منها التجار مقاصد التجارة وأنظمتها وطرقها.
ويتعلم منها المبتلون أسمى درجات الصبر والثبات، فتقوى عزائمهم على السير في طريق دعوة الإسلام وتعظم ثقتهم بالله عز وجل، ويوقنوا أن العاقبة للمتقين.
وتتعلم منها الأمة الآداب الرفيعة، والأخلاق الحميدة، والعقائد السليمة، والعبادة الصحيحة، وسمو الأخلاق، وطهارة القلب؛ ولهذا قال علي بن الحسن: «كنا نُعلَّم مغازي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كما نُعلَّم السورة من القرآن».
