{قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ} [آل عمران: 26]. يدل على أمرين: أولهما: أن الأمور كلها بيده سبحانه وتعالى، وأنه فعال لما يريد، وأن ما يشاء في هذا الكون يقع، وما لَا يشاء لَا يقع، وأنه سبحانه يؤتي الملك في الدنيا لمن يشاء، وأنه إذ يعطيه هو المسيطر عليه، ولذلك أضيف الملك إليه؛ إذ قال (مُلْكَهُ) فهو إذ يعطيه لمن يعطيه، هو الغالب على أمره يستطيع أن يسلبه في أي وقت شاء، فهو مالك الملك، وهو القاهر فوق عباده. ثانيهما: أن كل شيء في الوجود تحت سلطان الله تعالى، يبتلي الأمم بالقوة والضعف، والعزة والذلة، والهزيمة والانتصار، والبأساء والضراء، ثم النعماء والسراء، وعلى الأمم المغلوبة أن تتخذ الأسباب بجمع الكلمة، وتأليف القلوب، وتحرير النفوس من ربقة الأهواء والشهوات، ولا تستسلم للضعف، ولا تستخذي للقوي، وتناضل وتكافح وتصابر، وتتوكل على الله، وإلى الله مصير الأمور. دل على أن الله مالك جميع ما في الكون من إنسان وحيوان وجماد؛ إذ إن إضافة ملك الدنيا إلى الله تعالى في الآية إضافة مملوك إلى ملك. ودلت الآية على أن منح الملك أو السلطة لإنسان إنما هو بمشيئة الله الذي لا يصدر عنه إلا الخير للناس، فهو يصطفي لهم مَن يحقق المصلحة، وتتوافر فيه الكفاءة المطلوبة. تَقْرِيرُهُ أَنَّ الْمُلْكَ لِلَّهِ، وَالْعَبِيدَ لِلَّهِ؛ فَهُوَ سُبْحَانُهُ يُؤْتِي مُلْكَهُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ، وَلَا اعْتِرَاضَ لِأَحَدٍ عَلَيْهِ فِي فِعْلِهِ، لِأَنَّ الْمَالِكَ إِذَا تَصَرَّفَ فِي مُلْكِهِ لَا يَعْتِرضُ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ. يَعْنِي تَعَالَى ذِكْرُهُ بِذَلِكَ: أَنَّ الْمُلْكَ لِلَّهِ، وَبِيَدِهِ دُونَ غَيْرِهِ يُؤْتِيهِ. يَقُولُ: يُؤْتِي ذَلِكَ مَنْ يَشَاءُ فَيَضَعُهُ عِنْدَهُ، وَيَخُصُّهُ بِهِ، وَيَمْنَحُهُ مَنْ أَحَبَّ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ. يَقُولُ: فَلَا تَسْتَنْكِرُوا. هُوَ الْحَاكِمُ الَّذِي مَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ {لَا يُسْأَلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْأَلُونَ} [الأنبياء: 23]؛ لِعِلْمِهِ، وَحِكْمَتِهِ، وَرَأْفَتِهِ بِخَلْقِهِ. دل على أن التوفيق الإلهي في اختيار القائد قائم على العدل التام والسنة الحكيمة ورعاية المصلحة العامة. أي الملك له غير منازع فيه، فهو يؤتيه من يشاء ومن يصلح للملك، فلا اعتراض على حكم الله، وهو أعلم بخلقه وبالصالح منكم، وبما يستحقونه. أضاف الملك إلى نفسه تعظيماً، وملكه المطلق هو الملك الإلهي الذي لا جور فيه، ولهذا قرنه بالعز والذل، ونبه بقوله: (مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ) أن الملك في الحقيقة له، وما لغيره عارية مستردة، ولم يعن بإعطاء الملك: سياسة العامة فقط، بل ملك الإنسان على قواه وهواه، وقد قيل: لا يصلح لسياسة الناس من لا يصلح لسياسة نفسه، وقيل لبعضهم: من الملك؟ فقال: من ملك هواه. في الدنيا من غير إرث أو مال. إذ لا يشترط في حقه تعالى شيء، فهو الفعال لما يريد. أى: يعطى ملكه لمن يشاء من عباده لحكمة يعلمها. فلا يجوز لأحد أن يعترض على اختياره، والله واسع الفضل والعطاء. تنبيهاً أنه هو المختص بإيتاء الملك لعلمه يمن يستحقه، ولذلك أمرنا بالاستسلام له في ذلك. فَالْمُلْكُ مُلْكُهُ، وَالْعَبِيدُ عَبِيدُهُ، فَمَا لَكُمْ وَالِاعْتِرَاضُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ لَيْسَ هُوَ لَكُمْ وَلَا أَمْرُهُ إِلَيْكُمْ؟ أضافه إلى نفسه تعظيمًا له، والملك المطلق هو الملك الإِلهي، الذي لا جور فيه بوجه. يعني أن الله تعالى لا اعتراض عليه لأحد في فعله فيخص بملكه من يشاء من عباده. الملك له والعبيد له والمالك إذا تصرف في ملك نفسه فلا اعتراض لأحد عليه. لما أنه مالِكُ المُلكِ والملَكوتِ فعّالٌ لما يريد فله أن يؤتِيَه من يشاءُ من عباده. يريد: أن الملك ليس بالوراثة، إنما هو بإيتاء الله واختياره. (وَاللَّهُ يُؤْتِي مُلْكَهُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ) فَلَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَلَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ. إن الملك ليس بالوراثة وإنما هو بيد الله يؤتيه من يشاء. يعني الملك بيد الله عز وجل يضعه الله حيث يشاء. أضاف ملك الدُّنيا إلى الله إضافة مملوكٍ إلى ملكٍ. أي: يضعه حيث يشاء. إيتَاءَهُ لَا اعْتِرَاض عَلَيْهِ. لأنه مختصٌّ بالملْكِ. فيدبره بإذنه.
