للفقهاء في حكم تحريك الخاتم وسائر الزينة في الوضوء عدة أقوال([1] ) :
فقال الحنفية والشافعية: من مستحبات الوضوء تحريك المتوضئ خاتمه الواسع ـ ومثله القِرْط ـ وكذا الخاتم الضيق إن علم وصول الماء إلى ما تحته، وإلا فتحريكه فرض.
وقال أحمد بن حنبل: مَن توضأ وكان خاتمه ضيقاً فلا بد أن يحرِّكه.
وإن كان واسعاً يدخل فيه الماء أجزأه، وقد روى أبو رافع: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ «إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ، حَرَّكَ خَاتَمَهُ» ([2] ) .
ونص المالكية على أن الخاتم المأذون فيه لا يجب نزعه، ولا تحريكه في الوضوء؛ ولو كان ضيقاً لا يصل الماء تحته.
فإن نَزَعَه غَسَلَ محله إن لم يظن أن الماء وصل تحته.
وأما غير المأذون فيه فيجب نزعه إن كان حراماً؛ وأجزأ تحريكه إن كان واسعاً.
