كيفية تقليب الرداء:
قال المالكية، والحنابلة، وهو رأي للشافعية([1] : يقلب المستسقون أرديتهم، فيجعلون ما على اليمين على اليسار، وما على اليسار على اليمين، ودليلهم في ذلك ما روي عن عبد الله بن زيد، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حَوَّل رِدَاءَهُ، وَجَعَل عِطَافَهُ الأَيْمَنَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ الأَيْسَرِ، وَجَعَل عِطَافَهُ الأَيْسَرَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ الأَيْمَنِ([2] .
وقال محمد بن الحسن من الحنفية، والشافعية في الرأي الراجح([3] : إن كان الرداء مدوراً؛ بأن كان جبة يجعل الأيمن على الأيسر، والأيسر على الأيمن، وإن كان الرداء مربعاً يجعل أعلاه أسفله، وأسفله أعلاه، لما روي عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: أنه استسقى وعليه رداء، فأراد أن يجعل أسفلها أعلاها، فلما ثقلت عليه جعل العطاف الذي في الأيسر على عاتقه الأيمن، والذي على الأيمن على عاتقه الأيسر.
ويبدأ بتحويل الرداء عند البدء بالدعاء والتضرع إلى الله تعالى([4] .
