الفَصْلُ الخامس: الوضوء
مطلب: تعريف الوضوء:
الوضوء في اللغة([1] ) : مأخوذ من الوضاءة: أي الحُسْن والنظافة، وقد وَضُؤَ - من باب كَرُمَ - وضاءةً، مثل ضَخُمَ ضخامة: حَسُنَ وَنَظُفَ، ووَضَأَه: جعله يتوضأ، وتوضَّأ: غَسَل بعض أعضائه ونَظَّفَها.
وَالْمِيضَأَةُ: بكسر الميم: الموضع يُتوضأ فيه (اسم مكان)، ومنه (منهل، صنبور، بئر)، وَالْمِطْهَرَةُ: يُتَوَضَّأ منها.
والوُضوء؛ بالضم: فعل الوضوء،
والوَضوء؛ بالفتح: الماء يُتَوَضَّأ به.
والوضوء شرعاً: عرفه الفقهاء بتعريفات منها:
عند الحنفية: الوضوء هو الغَسْل والمسح على أعضاء مخصوصة([2] ) .
وعند المالكية: هو طهارة مائية تتعلق بأعضاء مخصوصة - وهي الأعضاء الأربعة - على وجه مخصوص([3] ) .
وعند الشافعية: هو أفعال مخصوصة مُفْتَتَحة بالنية، أو هو استعمال الماء في أعضاء مخصوصة مفتتحاً بالنية([4] ) .
وقال الحنابلة: هو استعمال ماء طَهور في الأعضاء الأربعة، (وهي الوجه، واليدان، والرأس، والرجلان)، على صفة مخصوصة في الشرع، بأن يأتي بها مرتبة متوالية مع باقي الفروض([5] ) .
